Becuz our streets suck more than yours?

Houston is a really new city compared to Philly... areas still "sprawling" out fast... the amount of construction debris where I ride is daunting... nails, wood screws, carpentry staples, metal fragments left over from machining, from plumbing work, pieces of ductwork, you name it.

Glass? I don't worry about glass. But there's glass also, in copious amounts. It does flat me rarely. Vast majority of my flats due to metal.

I paid $4 for one Slime tire liner. I know well about the problems that liners cause. But my flat rate has been so bad, I've been willing to try anything.
