Bikes: 2005 Trek 1200 (Upgraded)

5280 feet in a mile X .667 = 3521 feet travelled.
3521 feet travelled X .12 = 422 feet of rise

In layman's terms that means you will climb 1-1/2 football fields of elevation in 2/3 of a mile. Hope ya got a triple!!!
