Anyone had any good experiences asking for sponsorships from companies/websites?
In the next couple of months myself and 4 other colleagues will be cycling 160km in aid of a charity to be decided. Has anyone had any good experiences asking for donations from cycling companies/websites for any kind of sponsorship/donations? I'm not really meaning in terms of money but rather bits and bobs that might not seem much but could prove absolutely vital on the day, (inner tubes, a pack of gels/energy drinks) etc.
