How much could they produce from an entire farm's b stock produce? I'll bet, not very much. Not enough for a single wing of a 787.
Based on what evidence? Your best guess? There is a bunch of corn being turned in fuel despite it's low BTU content. What's to say they can't grow enough low grade carrots for this type of application. In fact, what if they take all the waste from every farm in the country or world? While I have no evidence either I'd bet there is plenty of this waste to go around.
