I have the opportunity to do it without much $ out of my pocket. I love my CAAD, its quick and fun, but I am going to do some longer rides, but I do NOT want to sacrifice any speed. One guy said that he feels like his Super isn't as responsive as his CAAD when initiating a sprint.

Honestly, I am not sure what your real question is.

The CAAD 10 is a great bike, so is the SuperSix, either way you can't go wrong. Ride the SuperSix and compare for youself. At that level it is a matter of personal choice. I have the 2013 SuperSix Ultegra, friends have the CAAD10. With their Carbon wheels their bike is lighter than mine.

Someone telling you which bike he prefers doesn't really help YOU.
