Price Point has the worst ripoff artistry I ever saw where they add on an 'insurance' expense at the last second before completing the transaction.

At least for this item, you're getting ripped off the least with ebay.

I can't imagine any LBS around Grand Rapids, MI would have anything like this. If it's not the current flashiest and newest and highest price forget it.
Lots of on-line retailers have free (well, actually part of the total cost) shipping with a minimum order amount. So, if you can combine that $2.50 washer with other needed items, say chains, brake pads, cassettes, tires, or whatever, the price of that washer really is $2.50.
