Cariboo is a beast. Used to live right by Cariboo Park and I found all sorts of ways to not have to ride up Cariboo.

in Kelowna now, my morning commute is about 30 m of climbing. My afternoon commute is about 300 m of climbing. The morning ride is much faster!
