I have 324s on my commuter bike. I usually ride with cleated/walking shoes, but on the occasions where I want to go a short way, or mot wear my bike shoes, the platform side works very well.

Flipping the pedals isn't an issue at all. You just do it, wiothout even looking. If you do a couple of strokes on the wrong side it's no big deal.

Clicking out is super easy. Pedals aren't too pricy.
