The intensity of the Pro Tour means it's super tough for older riders, and it's normal to age out of that level of competition. That he might be quitting at the young age of 42 in no way diminishes my respect for Jens.
Yeah that's my thoughts. Nothing tragic about quitting pro racing at 42 at all. And it looks like he's ready. He's a funny guy. I'd like to see him join Bobke behind the mic.
