In CC, Wheelworld at Washington/Sepulveda is pretty cool if you just want your bike tuned up. They mainly sell and work with MTBs, but their lead mechanic, Alberto, knows road bikes. His English isn't great, but if you can work with that, he's a cool guy. Reasonable rates and not as busy as Helen's. I recommend Helen's on Lincoln, too, for the service.
