I am a new rider and currently loving to ride my Giant roam 3 2013. I go on rides that are about 40km and was looking for a bike that could take me out on longer runs while staying light and comfortable. But the thing is that I also want to try my hand at touring, going out for a full weekend sleeping in hotels on the roads and eventually going out for weeks venturing out. The roAds I ride are 100% paved all the way even for when I will be touring. My question: Which of the bikes mentioned in the comments do you think is best and why? Or if you have even better bike ideas go ahead.
