Followed up yesterday's hard 100-mile ride with an even harder (if shorter) 83-mile ride in Lexington:

I think I've set a record: 183 miles and not a single crappy mile in the whole bunch! No accidental gravel this time, but some very, very steep stuff, including a nasty steep (and not so short) hill on well-named "Big Hill Road." 15-17% grade for a fairly long stretch. Hooboy!
