I use mine all summer and except for the slowest speeds find the ventilation to be good. I remove the front sweat pad which lets more air in under the front edge. Also think it will depend to some extent on the shape of your head.

The Air Attack is design to constrain airflow close to the scalp and through the hair (assuming you have some) where it does the most good. Air flowing through helmet 1/2" away from your scalp doesn't contribute to cooling.
