my problem is i need to put a rear rack on one of my bikes for grocery getting. i had it on the back of my g.record, which is a little silly, but the rack mounts on that bike are threaded (unlike the jubilé), so no need for a nut, just the bolts. but then a couple days ago, i removed the rack to rebuild the wheels on new rims. now that i have some sweet new wheels, i don't want to immediately put the rack back on it until i ride it a lot. so now i'm making a bunch of runs to the store for just a few items at a time.
bikes are not as fun to ride with a rear rack. it makes them feel more stiff and a little sluggish.
you'd think the jubilé would be perfect for a rear rack, but the bike is so long, it's easier to move around in the store with a shorter bike. yeah, i take my bike everywhere.
these are the problems that have tried great men for generations.
