I just fixed an annoying creak on my Caad10 also by greasing the pedal threads, they were on very tight but still creaked.
They actually creaked on the stock FSA crank and a new Quarq.
Changed the BB30 bearings thinking that was the prob only to still have the creak, so greased the pedals and its gone now finally.
Another common creak is the seat, grease the rails lightly and tighten well. Also the seatpost.
The bottom cone of the headseat can cause creaking and may need greasing too.
Creak Checklist before resorting to bb bearings:
- Clean & grease pedal threads, swap pedals if necessary
- Grease & tighten seat rails
- Grease seatpost lightly
- Grease bottom headset cone on fork
- Cable endstops on frame
- Stem/headset spaces
