Mine, too!

One nice aspect of cycling is that older riders can do well on long slow distance (LSD) rides. I did my first Grand Tour / Los Angeles Wheelmen Double Century in 1972, with two of my fellow fresh UCLA Physics graduates and my 50-year-old coach and employer (ex-Marine, father of 5, UCLA Physics PhD, entrepreneur). Along the route we met a number of delightful folks, including a 76-year-old gentleman from Watts, who was doing his 12th consecutive Grand Tour, an annual tradition he had started when he retired as a postal carrier.
