Nice bike!! I am with you on the BB7 I have had years of hassle free braking on my mtb - easy to adjust and change pads etc. I use the Avid Speed Dial 7 levers and can fine tune the modulation and reach with them. I like the Race Face Single chain rings as they last a long time and I have had no issues with dropping chains with them. They are also reversible so you can extend the life a little more. Surly cogs are tough to beat and have a the wide base. Ashima AiRotor's and some semi metallic pads have been working well and help keep the rotating weight down and work great with the BB7's
