A good idea I saw while driving down Constitution Ave in DC. Someone had their bike locked to a parking meter, but the seat was removed. I wouldn' steal a bike that wasn't going to be easy to ride away. Another Idea would be to remove the front wheel and bring it with you to your office, desk, locker etc. if possible.
