An excellent decision. From what I've seen, it's only the rare bike shop that will take the time to inspect and grease bearings during a "full tune-up [sic]."

PM or otherwise let me know which co-op you go to. I'm south of you, in Torrance. Have never been to a bike co-op but from what I've read they perform a useful service. (Wish they would have had them for motorcycles a few years ago.) I'd like to check one out sometime. Best. DB
