I am thinking about doing the "tourist" ride (not the race, gawd I'd never make it!) next year.

I have some dear friends who live in Bishop; we visit there somewhat regularly when the passes are open, and the scenery there is simply mind-blowing. The *drive* up to Schulman grove is tough . . . I'd love to be able to do that on a bike.
