Bontrager Trip 4 disappointed

So I bought a Bontrager Trip 4, I had a lot of high expectations for it -- but it left me a bit disappointed.

The signals were too weak for the device to be placed on my seat stay or my chain stay so it has to be mounted on my front wheel.

The sensor and the magnetic piece needs to be milimeters apart, often times while moving the bike the piece will move a smidge or rotate and the computer will no longer read or sense the rotations. sometimes the rotation of the magnetic piece rotates and hits the computer making an annoying ticking sound.

Worst off, sometimes the computer goes a bit haywire and begins to read nonsensical numbers. Sometimes it does not correct itself for hours.

No cadence.

Maybe I'm just having a bad model, or perhaps its about time I move onto a more expensive computer/ garmin?
