I am thinking about doing the "tourist" ride (not the race, gawd I'd never make it!) next year.
I have some dear friends who live in Bishop; we visit there somewhat regularly when the passes are open, and the scenery there is simply mind-blowing. The *drive* up to Schulman grove is tough . . . I'd love to be able to do that on a bike.

Thanks 'Nother for the Imageshack site. The pictures now finally work. I highly reccomend this ride. If you're going to do it, you may consider the public race. You can ride it at your own pace and if you end up near the front, you can have a go at it. You also get an extra hour or so to complete the ride as a public racer or tourist. Take Care...Pat
