My standard set now is the Dinotte 300R, day and night (except in group rides), and the Cygolite HotShot as a secondary or backup light. In the daytime the Dinotte is on low steady with flash, and in the evening the Dinotte is on low steady, with the HotShot on pulse.

What I like about the Niteflux is the very wide spread of the light, so that you're getting more side lighting than with most any other. To get a lot of side lighting, I add amber lights mounted on the downtube.
