It has been over six months since I've been able to ride my bike. My wife has been receiving treatment for breast cancer, her mother has dementia and we have been on hand to look after grandchildren too. Another one was born today (Sat 31st May) - a boy named Albie. How did I get to be a granddad to four youngsters - I don't remember getting old! My work schedule has been very erratic too so my Xootr Swift has been left idle since November - until today!

Only a short 17 miles around local lanes in warm sunshine but my legs and nether regions certainly feel like it was a much longer ride!. Took a few photo's just to prove I did it.
First let me say that I wish your wife well. I hope she fully recovers from this horrible disease.

I don't remember getting old either. Time just flew by. I wish I had my youthful legs back though. I start off good, but it doesn't take long before I run out of gas. At least I can ride longer and farther than I could a year ago.
