Got a question about this counting miles for commuting.
Is the commuting only the distance from home to work and back? Or does home > grocery store, and other non-recreational trips count aswel?

The general consensus here is that anything you do between leaving your place for work and returning home, counts as commuting miles. Otherwise, we'd only be able to count the shortest possible distance, and variety is the spice of life.
