I think you'd have to have a 2-speed system, rather than a 2-way. Keep to the right unless overtaking, broken line down the middle. The course direction can be changed up from day to day/week to week, signposted clearly; "Today is an ANTIclockwise day. Follow the BLUE direction signs."
