I have a 2012 Absolute2 that I bought new and I love the bike. In your case, the Trek is a better deal. $400 is a little steep for that bike. The model was improved in the two years newer (2012) model, but, newer models are not as good as the 2012 (components are cheaper). Every year the Fuji bike line changes slightly. Sometimes they have better component packages, sometimes they don't. The trek is a more expensive bike (new) and is well-fitted.
