Howdy SDR,

I have ridden the West Fork many times. Sometimes
I have ridden UP THERE from Glendora, and other times
I have ridden it from the trail head. One of my most
memorable trips up there was in late fall when it was
getting very cold up there at night and me in my shorts
and t-shirt with a friend following me down the funky road
after dark with a one watt bulb on my headlight, streaking
down the hill not sure I was gonna make it (because of a crash)
and freezing my hands off as they were about to freeze.

I get down to Santa Fe Dam once in a while and have ridden
the San Gabriel river trail too, but I tend to stay away from that
now for the prospect of dead water mosquitos breeding grounds
AND gang bangers laying for me at the side of the road.

I ride to Pasadena alot along Foothill/66 and Royal Oak Rd. through
Duarte and Monrovia to Foothill in Arcadia and out that way to Lake
in Pasadena. I visit friends in Duarte about everyday via bike. I am
currently getting at least 20 miles per day during the week and 25-30
on Saturdays.

If you see a guy with a baseball cap and sunglasses riding a White SWB Bent
or a CLWB red bent, that's me!
