Shimming a CF3 to fit larger seat tubes is not recommended. The tolerances vary too much with seat tubes and shims, that we cannot guarantee slipping under load/riding. This is highlighted in the CF3 owners manual and is not covered under warranty. The CF3 is only compatible with seat tubes that are exactly 27.2
