I would change that to "cable looped through the front wheel, frame, and whatever immovable object the U is attached to". Then if somebody targeted your Trek they would have to break the U
and the cable. Just a suggestion . . .
Ha, yeah that would make it harder, although if they have tools to cut through a u-lock, cutting through a cable would take a couple of seconds.
