Interesting storyline/drama? Of course, but Wiggo is not in the same category as a GC rider as Froome. Wiggo does not win that 2012 TdF if he had not been towed up the mountains by Froome. That is the fact! I think Froome got a raw deal, as he was clearly the best GC rider on that Sky 2012 TdF team.
And Brailsford knew it.
