Wiggins left out of Team Sky's Tour de France team | Cyclingnews.com
It's a great shame that Wiggins will not be riding the TDF given that the first couple of stages are in Yorkshire. The British cycling fans will be disappointed. Wiggins is much loved for his success in the Olympics and the TDF and Froome just doesn't have the same relationship with the British fans. Given that Wiggins has said that Froome is the leader and that he'd ride in support, his exclusion says a lot about the internal politics at Sky and Wiggins' form. Sky were probably scared of how much time he'd take out of Froome in the time trials and all the press around that.
