Yeah, same here with respect to the crowds. I just don't have the head for sprints with guys all around me -- I don't trust them enough.

This finish is pretty interesting though. About 200m from the line, you enter a chicane with two really nasty left turns, and that takes almost 100m. Then it's a straight 100m to the line. There are very few changes in position after that first left. Our guy is new to the course, and he originally wanted me to lead him through the chicane, but I had to tell him that then I'd be the sprinter, because nobody comes around after the chicane. After the race, he was like "holy crap, you were right!" He got past one guy in the turns, but nothing could be done after them.

Here it is. Going CCW, you can see the chicane on the far left, and the finish line at the bottom. Very selective turns.
