You would not believe what happened tonight. I headed downtown and took the train from work to go to first Friday. I was a little worried about bike parking since it is a popular event. I was going to look for a spot on the street, but there were lots in the train station, not far from the agent. So I decided to park my bike inside. I locked up well, with my seat cable, cable around the wheels and so on. I did get lazy and did not lock my helmet.

I came back a few hours later, ready to throw my scarf and purse in my crate. I noticed one of the slats looked crooked. Then I noticed two more were out of sorts. I lifted the crate and the bottom slats were all broken. Someone tried to steal my crate and broke it! I had about a dozen zip ties in it too keep it secure and attached for a bumpy ride.Ugh, now I gotta find something else. It was working so well for two weeks. I got so many questions and compliments about it. Guess I should have been wary, apparently there are plenty of haters in the universe.
