You are not, under any circumstances, to employ the use of the washer-nut and valve-stem cap that come with your inner-tubes or tubulars. They are only supplied to meet shipping regulations. They are useless when it comes to tubes and tires.
Is it OCD to quote The Rules on BF?
I can not believe I have committed such an egregious faux pas!

My life is a hallow empty shell now and I no longer derive any pleasure from my stock of different color electrical tape for bar wraps, cable crimp ends, and valve stem caps. All of that matchy-matchy color accessorizing is meaningless now!
