Hello Everyone!

I'm looking to surprise my husband with a new a hybrid bicycle to replace the one that was stolen from our backyard. I'd like to spent about $500 and so far I've been leaning towards the Diamondback Insight 2. I spoke with a local BicycleDirect shop and they recommended either a Specialized Crossroad or a Giant Roam within a similar price point. Thoughts on the best of these choices? He uses the bike predominantly for exercise/recreation purposes on all sorts of terrain and he's about 6'1".
