'Way back when I was about 30, I did something to my right knee while on a tour. Had to pedal in to camp one-legged! Went to town and got a neoprene brace with a patella cutout and wore it for two days. Yes it was tight, hot, and it bunched up behind my knee every time my foot came around the top of the pedal stroke. By the end of the second day, I had to decide which pain was worse - the joint, which was improving, or the pinching on every pedal stroke. I packed the brace. Maybe the ace-type elastic ones don't bunch up as badly.
