Well, it's sorta both.

I took it so that I could send it to my best riding buddy as a kick in the ass to buy a bright red rear blinkie, and to send to a local bicycling advocate, to show the position of the witness marks and stain on the road.

The last thing I want is to simply spread gratuitous gore. Hence my hesitation. On the other hand it is both a very educational dope-slap AND is.... interesting to try to analyze positionally etc.
