Even the act of looking behind you tends to make cyclists swerve left. A driver a little too close, plus a cyclist who swerves left while attempting to look back is a bad combination.

I see no reason to post a picture, as it will not illustrate much about the accident. The location of the "mark" will likely be 40+ feet from the point of impact.
