I understand that you would have to get a LOT of flats to equal this price but consider the fact that if you live near a city you can sell your current wheelset for $100 on craigslist. That means you are only spending an extra $100 for an absolutely bombproof wheelset (a23 rims, 2mm dt spokes, shimano 105 hubs).
