Here are some random thoughts.

1. Tulsa Tough is a top notch event. It's well run from start to finish, the city supports it enthusiastically, the courses are great, the crowds are insane and it's just the coolest thing to see yourself on the jumbotron. Plus it's a fun place to visit. I grew up in Tulsa and couldn't wait to move away, but this was the first time I've ever been back (since 1985!) where I really had a good time. Some great restaurants, fun stuff to do, and it's all easygoing. I wouldn't want to move back there or anything, but I had a very enjoyable weekend. Next year I'd like to do both the Masters A and B fields for all three races.

2. Crits are way more fun than road races. From now on I think I'll do RRs only when there's a compelling reason to (local races, supporting teammates, etc).
