You will definitely have to do the track 101 before you are allowed to ride the track. They usually run these on Sat mornings starting at 9 but also often have a second one in the aft. The rental bikes are getting a little beat up from all the "101" use but better to beat up a rental than yer own learning. Buy the crash insurance in case you do go down so you dont have to pay for damage. A bunch of us are heading down in a couple of weeks.....maybe everyone who wants to go can get together and do a little car pooling?
Cool, I might be up for that depending on what weekend it is. I have a car also, so I'd be willing to help with car-pooling. I don't have a bike rack right now though, so it'll have to be rentals. My bike has brakes anyway, so it'd be a pain to make it trackable.
