Perhaps, but the vital criterion of standover height isn't met. Too tall for me, except in the smallest frame. Can't do 30" standover height, easily. And the shorter ones are almost certainly to be too small at the top tube and reach (long-waisted). Same old problem, with my size.


Have seriously envied the Bad Boy's features. Seems really decent. Pricey, as a starting-point build looking to keep the initial price down. Light, strong, decent components. Haven't seen one around for $300, though, sadly. The BB HeadShok might be an interesting one, presuming I swapped to a different, non-proprietary shock/fork.




Open to any other suggestions for what's on the market, as a good start to such a build.
