Decided to switch up the route again this morning and take the Central Valley Greenway to work, touted as one of the crown jewel's of Metro Vancouver's cycling network. I've ridden it before, and there are some gravel stretches where I have to slow down, but it was even worse this morning as they've just laid a bunch of loose gravel down. :-P At least the weather was gorgeous!
I never enjoyed the Burnaby portion of that. Winston is a crummy street with speeders trying to avoid lougheed. Then the gravel stretch. The not well connected portions. The intersection of death with Boundary, they put in a light right?
I would usually just use Lougheed and turn left at Boundary and join the path there.
