Relating to your post I have a 2013 Roam 2 purchased in 14 and love it. Ridden over 1500 miles on it and the Acera Group has been great. A couple of sloppy shifts here and there but no problems. Had some other problems if you want to hear them let me know.

The LBS told me there were no changes between models 13 and 14 either. However after carefully checking my 2013 cassette is a nickel plated Deore versus a cheaper
