I stumbled across a website with a lot of short, readable, interesting articles on training, physiology, and performance. It is intended for racers, but I find most of the topics relevant to mere mortals who want to ride faster and farther, even if that only means 17 mph instead of 15 mph.
The author is notorious today as a
persona non grata, recipient of a lifetime ban from professional cycling, and merely knowing him can get a pro rider fired. But in an odd way, I think that makes him all the more credible - he worked with many of the (ex) champions and was one of the leading sports trainers of the period - shame about all the doping. Naturally there are no articles about doping on his website. Anyway, I thought you guys might find the site interesting;
