Hi All,

I bought an average mountain bike last year and have found that I mainly ride roads. I occasionally ride a sidewalk if I need to avoid a crazy person in a car. I am thinking of switching over to a road bike or a road hybrid. I have a budget of 2000 to spend. What's the best road / hybrid road bike in this price range? I looked at a specialized sirrus comp disc and specialized road bike in the 1300 dollar range. They were both lighter and geared higher than my current bike but I want the best bang for my buck.
