Have you ruled out mechanical problems? Obvious, yes, but may be worth checking it out. Just last week my paramount felt extremely slow, and, sure enough, the freehub body had loosened up (never had that problem with a freewheel
), which had the same effect as tightening the hub cones. Performed like normal, otherwise, but it just felt slow.
