As you browse through the forums here and elsewhere ... as you meet and talk to people who enjoy all the various aspects of cycling ... you'll discover that everyone would like more/better facilities for the type of cycling that they do.

More/better BMX tracks
More/better mountain bike parks and trails
More/better roads with shoulders
More/better cycleways that go between residential areas and employment areas
More/better bicycle parking facilities
More/better public transportation facilities, especially those that can accommodate bicycles
More/better bicycle shops that cater to the type of cycling that they prefer to do
More/better education for cyclists and motorists
More/better events
More/better facilities at work for those who want to transport themselves there under human power
Etc. Etc.

We've each got an idea in mind about what would make cycling more accessible and more enjoyable for us ... and for the other cyclists we see, know, and cycle with.
Thing about what I'm espousing is that my particular hobby horse is for more than just a fun time. Mt biking and BMX riding is just for fun, whereas most of the rest of that can be part of earning a livelihood.
I'm OK with few or no events (my area has plenty), there are lots of cycling shops in my area. They may not carry my favorite type of bikes, but I have the internet.... but I'm always a fan of more education. Aren't you?
