Well, it's been a week since I started riding. I rode 50 miles today. I am NOT entering the race! I will instead be doing that ride mentioned above. I only managed to keep a 12 mph pace average. I am not even sure if I can do the century ride at that pace before everyone is done and leaving, it starts at 7am and they begin the clean up at 3:30pm, which only gives me 8 and a half hours to finish, and at a 12 mph pace I'd be pushing it, especially considering I hit a HUGE wall at mile 40 and my pace dipped off.
